*Do you get a slight thrill whenever a TV or movie villain “gets what’s coming to <strong>the</strong>m”?<br />

*Do you confess your “sins” to church leaders or confide your foibles to friends?<br />

*Do you analyze, criticize or gossip about your boss, your supervisor(s) or your coworkers?<br />

*Do you ridicule <strong>the</strong> actions or beliefs of your enemies (including citizens of o<strong>the</strong>r<br />

countries, worshipers of o<strong>the</strong>r religions, or member of o<strong>the</strong>r political parties)?<br />

*Do you rationalize or justify <strong>the</strong> decisions from your past that incidentally caused o<strong>the</strong>rs<br />

pain?<br />

*Do you find yourself wishing that you had had <strong>the</strong> courage to “go your own way” or<br />

“live your own life”?<br />

*Do you sometimes look back and feel that you tried to satisfy <strong>the</strong> expectations of o<strong>the</strong>rs<br />

instead of following a path that was in alignment with your True Self?<br />

*Do you avoid opening up when o<strong>the</strong>rs who ask you about your personal life?<br />

*Do you wish you had a different job?<br />

*Do you second-guess minor decisions, &/or feel paralyzed when confronted with major<br />

ones?<br />

*Do you get noticeably angry when things go wrong in your life?<br />

*Do you wish you had kept in touch with more of your friends from <strong>the</strong> past?<br />

*Do you disguise your personal faults, &/or downplay <strong>the</strong> effects of your failures?<br />

*Do you experience regular headaches, &/or regular bouts of heartburn or indigestion?<br />

*Do you warn o<strong>the</strong>rs about <strong>the</strong> “mistakes” <strong>the</strong>y are making with <strong>the</strong>ir lives?<br />

*Do you use <strong>the</strong> word “sorry” more than once a month?<br />

Remember, if you happened to answer any of <strong>the</strong>se questions affirmatively, it does not<br />

make you “weak” or “inferior” or “bad” in any way. It merely means that you have<br />

identified some of <strong>the</strong> more subtle ways that regret is currently hampering your ability to<br />

experience real Peace in your life … behaviors that are causing far more pain than<br />

pleasure; bringing you far more harm than happiness.<br />
