Mr. Rowzee outlined the history, activities, operations and research<br />

program of the Corporation. He continued his talk regarding future<br />

operations of the Corporation and demonstrated to Members the comparable<br />

resilience of certain types of synthetic rubber.<br />

Mr. Rowzee, together with Mr. Wilk, was questioned concerning the<br />

operations of Polymer Corporation Limited and in particu/ar with relation<br />

to the audit controi of its subsidiary, (SAF), located at Strasbourg,<br />

France. They were further questioned regarding the Company's cornpetitive<br />

position in the export field, with particular reference to the<br />

United States market. Mr. HUnter was questioned about liaison between<br />

the Company and the Department of Defence Production.<br />
