3. Anal Pump - Aśvini Mudrā<br />

1. Anal Pump (Aśvini Mudrā) - lit. Horse gesture. With Kapāla Bhāti, squeeze <strong>the</strong> ring of your<br />

anal sphincter muscle, <strong>and</strong> let it contract. One round should last ½ <strong>to</strong> 1 second. Begin with 20<br />

squeezes per session in <strong>the</strong> beginning, <strong>and</strong> work up <strong>to</strong> 100x per session comfortably.<br />

Benefits: Aśvini Mudrā brings energy from <strong>the</strong> Secret Cakra up <strong>the</strong> central channel, charging<br />

your whole body. Streng<strong>the</strong>ning <strong>the</strong>se muscles assists in becoming more orgasmic.<br />

Time: 1 minute.<br />

4. Secret Pump - Guhya Pīḍayati<br />

1. Secret Pump (Guhya Pīḍayati) – The PC (Pubococcygeus) muscle is <strong>the</strong> muscle used <strong>to</strong><br />

control <strong>the</strong> flow of urination. To find your PC muscle, when you urinate, s<strong>to</strong>p <strong>and</strong> start your flow<br />

of urine – that is <strong>the</strong> PC muscle. With Kapāla Bhāti, squeeze <strong>the</strong> PC muscle. One round should<br />

last ½ <strong>to</strong> 1 second. Begin with 20 squeezes per session in <strong>the</strong> beginning, <strong>and</strong> work up <strong>to</strong> 100x per<br />

session comfortably.<br />

Benefits: Secret Pump brings energy from <strong>the</strong> Secret Cakra up <strong>the</strong> central channel, charging your<br />

5. Bellows Breath - Bhastrika<br />

1. Sitting in Vajra Posture, from <strong>the</strong> diaphragm, breath in <strong>and</strong> out strongly, deeply <strong>and</strong> quickly<br />

25x, with equal emphasis on <strong>the</strong> in-breath <strong>and</strong> out-breath.<br />

2. Take in a deep three-part breath, inhaling first from <strong>the</strong> belly, <strong>the</strong>n <strong>the</strong> diaphragm, <strong>and</strong> last <strong>the</strong><br />

upper chest), close <strong>the</strong> lower gate by tightening <strong>the</strong> lower pelvis (Mūla B<strong>and</strong>ha – lit. Root Lock)<br />

<strong>and</strong> upper gate using <strong>the</strong> chin lock (Jāl<strong>and</strong>hara B<strong>and</strong>ha – lit. S<strong>to</strong>pping <strong>the</strong> Net of Illusion Lock),<br />

<strong>and</strong> hold your breath for a count of 25. As you hold your breath, hold <strong>the</strong> focus of your<br />

awareness at your heart cakra.<br />

3. Open <strong>the</strong> lower <strong>and</strong> upper gates <strong>and</strong> release <strong>the</strong> breath, <strong>and</strong> brea<strong>the</strong> normally for 1 minute.<br />

Repeat.<br />

You may experience some dizziness as you do this, which is normal.<br />
