“Without concern for cause <strong>and</strong> effect” means that practitioners attain a level of awareness<br />

beyond karmic conditioning. All your actions, arising from ultimate reality, are stainlessly pure.<br />

Verse 110: <strong>Great</strong> Passion (Mahārāga) is <strong>the</strong> sacred desire that drives all beings <strong>to</strong> inner<br />

awakening.<br />

“Fluid glowing gold” refers <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> glowing golden rays of <strong>the</strong> goddess, who melts all <strong>the</strong> worlds<br />

in<strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> one taste of nirvāṇa.<br />

“The world luminous with one taste” – The one taste of <strong>the</strong> bliss of all-pervasive ultimate reality.<br />

Verse 111: “Like a wheel revolving, its form spinning rightwards” refers <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> seed syllables as<br />

a wheel going through <strong>the</strong> cakras. Rightwards means that <strong>the</strong> mantric ring of fire spins clockwise<br />

from <strong>the</strong> point of view of <strong>the</strong> man.<br />

Concluding Verses - Pratipatti<br />

You embrace your fourth consort, <strong>the</strong> <strong>Great</strong> <strong>Bliss</strong>, <strong>the</strong> all-pervasive wisdom of <strong>the</strong> Yoginī who<br />

transcends appearances <strong>and</strong> embodies <strong>the</strong>m all. From <strong>the</strong> Swing Recitation (Dolā Japa), <strong>the</strong><br />

practitioners exp<strong>and</strong> <strong>the</strong>ir awareness from <strong>the</strong> Fusion of <strong>the</strong>ir Identities (Ātma Melaka) between<br />

<strong>the</strong>mselves <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> all-embracing cosmic view of Mahāmudrā.<br />

Verse 112: Dualistic thinking is <strong>the</strong> root of suffering that produces <strong>the</strong> tragic “roar of saṃsāra.”<br />

Once this illusory veil is burned <strong>to</strong> ashes through <strong>Tantric</strong> practice “<strong>the</strong> subtle winds are stilled.”<br />

The subtle winds that sustain dualistic consciousness must be brought in<strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> central channel<br />

<strong>and</strong> stilled for enlightenment <strong>to</strong> dawn. All this has been achieved through <strong>the</strong> Four Yogas.<br />

Verse 113: Just as <strong>the</strong> colors of a rainbow effortlessly dissolve in<strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> sky, <strong>the</strong> perception of<br />

space as a concrete experience dissolves in Innate awakened consciousness.<br />

“<strong>Great</strong> blessings are received” by practitioners of <strong>the</strong> sādhana.<br />

Verse 114: Repeated practice of <strong>the</strong> sādhana ensures that <strong>the</strong> ignorance of dualistic thought<br />

cannot be maintained. As a result, you continually experience all appearances without an<br />

independent existence, arising as if in a dream.<br />

Verse 115: You recognize that all appearances are “not real,” in <strong>the</strong> sense that <strong>the</strong>y have no<br />

independent <strong>and</strong> separate existence from anything else - any sensation of <strong>the</strong>m having this kind<br />

of substantive reality at all comes only “from ignorant thinking.” Like waves on <strong>the</strong> ocean, you<br />
