Íยางที่ทราบกันดีวาเชียงใหมไดกลายเปนเมืองศิลปะไปแลว ที่นี่<br />
ไมเพียงแคเปนชุมนุมของศิลปน แตยังเปนศูนยรวมของแกลเลอรี่<br />
ศิลปะหลากหลายสไตลที่ผุดขึ้นมามากมายเปนดอกเห็ด แตจะ<br />
เริ่มจากแกลเลอรี่ไหนดี?<br />
เพื่อรวบรวมขอมูลใหแกนักทองเที่ยวและผูที่สนใจทําความรูจักกับ<br />
ชุมชนศิลปะในเชียงใหม กลุม Chiang Mai Art Conversation (CAC)<br />
ที่เปนการรวมตัวของศิลปนในพื้นที่ไดจัดทําแผนที่ศิลปะเชียงใหมขึ้น<br />
โดยแผนที่แบบรายปที่สนับสนุนการผลิตโดยจิม ทอมปสันจะระบุพิกัด<br />
แกลเลอรี่เกือบ 50 แหงทั่วเมือง รวมถึงวันและเวลาทําการ และ<br />
รายละเอียดที่จําเปนอยางเรื่องที่จอดรถหรือเรื่องมีอาหารหรือไม เพื่อ<br />
เปนขอมูลเบื้องตนใหแกผูที่สนใจเยี่ยมชม โดยทางทีมงานหวังวาแผนที่<br />
ศิลปะเชียงใหมนี้จะชวยเพิ่มพลวัตใหกับวงการศิลปะเชียงใหม เพื่อให<br />
ผูที่อยากเสพงานศิลปะมีโอกาสเขาถึงแกลเลอรี่มากยิ่งขึ้น ในขณะ<br />
เดียวกันแกลเลอรี่เองก็มีผูเขาชมมากยิ่งขึ้น ซึ่งอาจนําไปสูการมีรายได<br />
มากยิ่งขึ้นดวย โดยกาวตอไปของโครงการนี้คือการพัฒนาเว็บไซตเพื่อ<br />
ใหคนเขาถึงขอมูลจากโทรศัพทมือถือไดดวย เชื่อวาดวยโครงการดีๆ<br />
แบบนี้ วงการศิลปะของเชียงใหมคงไดเฟองฟูมากขึ้นไปอีก<br />

Chiang Mai has undoubtedly become a capital of art in<br />
Thailand. Many artists choose to peacefully reside here, while<br />
galleries of every kind pop up around the city. But with so<br />
much to see, where do you start?<br />
To provide information for travellers and art enthusiasts,<br />
the Chiang Mai Art Conversation (CAC), a collective founded<br />
by local artists, recently launched the Chiang Mai Art Map.<br />
This annual art map, whose production was sponsored by<br />
Jim Thompson, indicates location and basic information<br />
like business hours, parking space and food for more than<br />
50 galleries around the city. The collective hopes that this<br />
art map will help create several dynamics in the city’s art<br />
community, allowing people to have more access to the<br />
galleries and leading to more income. The second phase<br />
of the project is to develop a website that allows people to<br />
access to the map through mobile phones. With projects like<br />
this, Chiang Mai’s art scene shows no sign of slowing down.<br />
