One can observe the damage zone of nano-phased composite is smaller than that of neat system. Figure 25c and 25d show the failure appearances at about 60% Peak load of the composites. Figure 25e and 25f show the finial failure appearances of composites. In these figures, the fiber element breakage of two composite are almost same, but matrix element breakage of nano-phased composite is smaller than that of neat system. Figure 25.
