From Mexico City, a vessel lit from the Flame is flown to Acapulco. A relay
of 26 runners speeds it from the airport to Plaza Alvarez where, at sundown,
officials, dignitaries and a large public attend its arrival. The following day,
skiers skim across the bay carrying the Flame to its final destination—the
Club de Yates, host for the Olympic yachting competition.
