3. Results and Discussion<br />

3 .1 . B iological C h aracteristics of C lim bin g P erch<br />

Climbing perch (Anabas testudineus Bloch, 1 7 9 2 ) is known as species of high<br />

flesh quality and high market price (fig. 2). Throughout its activity of air-breath-<br />

ing (fig. 3), climbing perch can survive in a variety of habitats in nature.<br />
