ISTANBUL, 31 août (AFP) - 22h5.7 - Un policier turc a été tué dimanche par des rebelles kurdes présumés lors
de l'attaque d'uri commissariat à Silvan, à 90 km de Diyarbakir, chef-lieu de la région à majorité kurde dans l'est
de la Turquie, selon des sourçes de sécurité locales.
Le commissariat a été la cible dans la soirée d'une attaque des forces rebelles au cours de laquelle le policier a
été tué et deux autres blessés, sans que l'on retrouve les assaillants, a-t-on déclaré à l'AFP. .

Jeudi, deux commissariats du sud-est du pays avaient déjà été la cible d'attaques de la rébellion kurde,
laissant six blessés parmi les forces de sécurité dont un grave.
Selon Ankara, plusieurs milliers de combattants de la rébellion kurde du PKK (rebaptisé Kadek le 1er
septembre 1999) demeurent retranchés dans le nord de l'Irak, où la vacance de pouvoir suivant la première
Guerre du Golfe en 1991 leur a permis d'échapper à la répression turque.
Une loi d'amnistie et de remise de peine pour les militants kurdes acceptant de donner des informations au
gouvernement, entrée en vigueur début août, était censée mettre fin à la dernière résistance des derniers
groupes de rebelles kurdes, après 15 ans d'une lutte qui a fait 36.500 morts.
