disposal. In chapter 9 I suggest four general propositions about the influence
of ENGOs on environmental regimes. I also discuss the strengths and
weaknesses of the three prominent approaches to regime analysis in the
light of the 1993 global radwaste disposal ban. In chapter 10 I point out
the limitations of this case study, discuss the generalizability of the findings,
and suggest how further research might shed more light on the issues raised
earlier in the book. Finally, I discuss whether the decision to ban radwaste
disposal should be considered “good” international environmental policy.
