3.35.2 Mining and mineral processing operations
The catchment falls under the Harare Mining District (ZGS, 1995). The main mining activity is small-scale
chrome mining along the Great Dyke.
There is exploration for gold, silver, nickel, PGEs, and diamonds (ZGS, 2001).
