• Named the seventh-best prospect in the Tigers organization following the season by Baseball America.
Selected by Detroit in the sixth round of the June 2011 draft, he was assigned to the Gulf Coast League Tigers to begin
his professional career.
• Had his contract transferred from the Gulf Coast League Tigers to Single A Connecticut for the remainder of the
season on July 21 -- tied for fifth in the New York-Penn League with eight home runs.
• Rated as having the second-best pro debut among all junior college players selected in the draft by Baseball America.
• Belted a season-high two home runs on July 30 versus Batavia.

Spent the majority of the 2012 season with Triple A Toledo -- tied for the lead on the Mud Hens staff with seven wins, while
he tied for second with 112 strikeouts.
• Compiled a six-game winning streak with the Mud Hens April 20-July 6 -- posted a 2.54 ERA (63.2IP/18ER) and 63
strikeouts during the 10-start stretch.
• Fanned a season-high 10 batters on May 26 at Pawtucket.
• Recalled from Toledo by the Tigers on June 1 -- made his major league debut that night versus the New York Yankees,
suffering the loss after allowing six runs in 3.1 innings of work.
• Earned his first major league win on June 7 versus Cleveland.
• Optioned to Toledo by the Tigers for the remainder of the season on June 15.
• Went the distance in back-to-back starts August 15 at Syracuse and August 21 at Lehigh Valley -- tied for third in the
