Entering his 32nd season in professional baseball and his 12th season with the Tigers after joining the team in<br />

January 2002.<br />

• His responsibilities with the Tigers cover all legal affairs pertaining to baseball operations, including major<br />

league player contract negotiations and arbitration procedures, as well as any other baseball-related legal<br />

issues and administrative matters.<br />

• Westhoff is involved with signing the Tigers top amateur draft picks, while also providing general legal services.<br />

• Spent one-and-a-half seasons with the Florida Marlins in the same capacity, joining the Marlins in July 2000.<br />

• Prior to joining the Marlins, Westhoff spent 19 years as the associate counsel for Major League Baseball, Office<br />

of the Commissioner.<br />

• While with Major League Baseball, he participated in negotiations for three Collective Bargaining Agreements<br />

and administered and enforced these agreements as well as the policies that existed between the clubs and the<br />

Major League Baseball Players Association.<br />

• Westhoff also handled legal issues relating to the processing of grievances, including representing clubs in both<br />

grievance and salary arbitration hearings.<br />

• Westhoff received an undergraduate degree in Political Science and Economics from Fordham University in<br />

1976 and earned his Juris Doctor degree from Fordham University School of Law in 1982.<br />

• 58 years of age...he and his wife, Donna, reside in Northville, MI, and their daughter, Casey, lives in Maryland.<br />

MARKETING<br />

Enters her fifth full season in her current role and 14th season with the organization after joining the Tigers<br />

prior to the 2000 season.<br />

• Oversees all functions of the club’s marketing and promotions departments, including print and broadcast<br />

advertising, in-game entertainment and promotional giveaways.<br />

• Manages the club’s branding strategy and was responsible for the launch of the Tigers’ successful “Who’s Your<br />

Tiger” campaign, which served as the club’s marketing slogan from 2005-08 and returned in 2011.<br />

• Promoted to her current position during the 2008 season after spending the previous six seasons as director of<br />

marketing...originally joined the Tigers as a marketing manager prior to the 2000 season.<br />

• Prior to joining the Tigers, she served as the director of marketing for WMXD (MIX 92.3 FM) where she was<br />

responsible for the station’s marketing, imaging and advertising strategies...she also managed sales,<br />

promotions, special events and consumer relationship marketing during her seven years at WMXD.<br />

• Served in a variety of roles during four years at Vaughn Marketing Consultants in Detroit, MI, last serving as<br />

the senior account executive where she was responsible for overseeing special event execution, public relations<br />

strategies, budget management, branding and advertising for select accounts and clients.<br />

• Is a graduate of the Detroit Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Detroit XVII Class...is a member of The Links,<br />

Inc., Greater Wayne County Chapter and is a board member of the Arts League of Michigan and the Karmanos<br />

Cancer Institute and is a mentor for the Women of Tomorrow Mentor and Scholarship Program.<br />

• Is a graduate of the Inforum Center for Leadership’s Executive Leadership program.<br />

• Holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Spelman College in Atlanta, GA and is a member of the college’s<br />

alumni association...also holds a certificate of public relations from the New York University School of Continuing<br />

Education Management Institute in New York, NY.<br />

• She and her husband, Anthony, reside in Huntington Woods, MI.<br />
