• Had his contract purchased from New Orleans by the Marlins on July 21 -- made his major league debut that evening
versus Colorado, starting behind the plate and going hitless in three at-bats.
• Collected a triple off Jair Jurrjens for his first major league hit on July 25 versus Atlanta.
• Optioned to New Orleans by the Marlins on August 4 -- saw action in eight games with New Orleans before he was
recalled by the Marlins for the remainder of the season on August 20.
• Belted his first major league home run on September 1 versus Washington, a solo shot off of Craig Stammen.
