<strong>2013</strong> TIGERS<br />

• Collected two hits and a stolen base in Game One of the American League Division Series on October 6 versus<br />

Oakland, his post-season debut -- became the first Tigers player to collect at least two hits and a stolen base in his<br />

post-season debut since Matty McIntyre did so in Game One of the World Series on October 10, 1908 versus the<br />

Chicago Cubs.<br />

Released by the New York Mets organization on April 1 after being selected by the club from the San Diego Padres in<br />

the minor league phase of the Rule 5 Draft during the off-season...signed by the Cincinnati Reds as a minor league free<br />

agent on April 21, 2011.<br />

• Assigned to Double A Carolina by the Reds -- led the Southern League with 40 stolen bases, while he finished fourth<br />

with a .399 on-base percentage.<br />

• Collected a season-high four hits on May 20 versus Chattanooga.<br />

• Batted .320 (31x97) in 26 games during May.<br />

• Sidelined June 22-29 with a left hand contusion.<br />

• Compiled a 15-game hitting streak August 9-24, batting .383 (23x60).<br />

• Hit .337 (34x101) in 28 games during August.<br />

• Had his contract transferred from Carolina to Triple A Louisville on September 1.<br />

Assigned to Double A Reading by the Philadelphia Phillies to begin the 2010 season.<br />

• Sidelined April 12-30 with a viral infection.<br />

• Tabbed the Eastern League Player of the Week for June 7-13 -- batted .500 (8x16) with a double, home run, five RBI<br />

and four stolen bases in five games during the week.<br />

• Claimed off waivers by San Diego from Philadelphia on July 14 -- assigned to Double A San Antonio by the Padres.<br />

Earned both Eastern League mid- and post-season all-star honors with Reading during the 2009 season.<br />

• Second in the Eastern League with 48 stolen bases, while he finished fourth with 135 games played and tied for fourth<br />

with 516 at-bats and 89 runs scored.<br />

• Topped all league outfielders with a .993 fielding percentage.<br />

• Tabbed the best baserunner in the Eastern League by Baseball America.<br />

• Saw action in eight games with Caguas in the Puerto Rican Winter League following the season.<br />

Selected to the Florida State League’s post-season all-star squad after spending the entire 2008 season with Single A<br />

Clearwater.<br />

• Topped the Florida State League with 134 games played and 51 stolen bases, while he finished second with 511 atbats<br />

and 65 walks and fourth with 139 hits.<br />

• Batted .393 (24x61) over the course of a 14-game hitting streak June 24-July 10.<br />

• Compiled a 30-game hitting streak July 12-August 13, batting .363 (45x124).<br />

• Second in the Florida State League with a .368 batting average (42x114) in 26 games during July.<br />

• Named the 25th-best prospect in the Phillies organization following the season by Baseball America.<br />

• Saw action in 22 games with Mesa in the Arizona Fall League following the season, batting .311 (28x90) with four<br />

doubles, a home run, nine RBI and five stolen bases.<br />

Spent the entire 2007 season with Single A Lakewood, winning the Paul Owens Award as the best player in<br />

Philadelphia’s minor league system.<br />

• Selected to both the South Atlantic League’s mid- and post-season all-star squads.<br />

• Led the South Atlantic League with 55 stolen bases, while he finished fifth with 152 hits and tied for eighth with a .312<br />

batting average.<br />

• Tabbed the South Atlantic League Player of the Week for May 21-27 -- batted .448 (13x29) with a double, triple, four<br />

RBI and six stolen bases in seven games during the week.<br />

• Compiled a season-high 14-game hitting streak May 21-June 5, batting .455 (25x55).<br />

• Collected a season-best four hits on August 1 versus Asheville.<br />

• Fourth in the South Atlantic League with a .378 batting average (45x119) in 28 games during August.<br />

• Named the 23rd-best prospect in the Phillies organization following the season by Baseball America.<br />

Made his professional debut with Single A Batavia after being selected by Philadelphia in the fifth round of the June<br />

2006 draft.<br />

• Collected a season-high five hits on July 9 versus Hudson Valley.<br />
