and past under <strong>the</strong> Privy Seal <strong>of</strong> <strong>Scotland</strong>, granting with advice <strong>of</strong><br />

James Earl <strong>of</strong> Perth, Lord High Chancellor, William <strong>Duke</strong> <strong>of</strong> Hamilton,<br />

George, Viscount <strong>of</strong> Tarbat, Lord Register, William Drummond ot"<br />

Cromlix, Lieutenant General <strong>of</strong> his Majesty's forces in <strong>Scotland</strong>, Lords<br />

Commissioners <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Treasury, and also with advice <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> rest <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />

Lords Commissioners <strong>of</strong> Exchequer, to William, <strong>Duke</strong> <strong>of</strong> Queensberry, as<br />

Lord President <strong>of</strong> his Majesty's Privy Council <strong>of</strong> his said kingdom, a<br />

yearly pension <strong>of</strong> £1,000 sterling, to be paid at Whitsunday and<br />
