to Sir James Douglas <strong>of</strong> Drumlangrig, dated 12 June 1606.<br />

William, his lifetyme, and for 3 nyntein yeares <strong>the</strong>rafter, dated, 1st<br />

October 1607. Registrat 9 JSTovember <strong>the</strong>reafter.<br />

Hollywood, <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> tacks <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> teynds within <strong>the</strong> paroch <strong>of</strong> Penpunt, and<br />

<strong>the</strong> teinds <strong>of</strong> Grienslain in Glencairn and Dunscore sett to Sir James<br />

Douglas <strong>of</strong> Drumlangrig. Dated 12 June 1606. Registrat in <strong>the</strong><br />

Books <strong>of</strong> Council and Session that same day.<br />

comendator <strong>of</strong> Hollywood, and convent <strong>the</strong>re<strong>of</strong>, to Robert, Lord Crichtoun<br />

<strong>of</strong> Sanquhar for his lifetyme, and after his deceise for <strong>the</strong> space <strong>of</strong> three<br />

nyntein years, <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> parochin <strong>of</strong> Kirkconnell, being within <strong>the</strong> barronie<br />

<strong>of</strong> Sanquhar and sherefdome <strong>of</strong> Dumfreis, <strong>the</strong> entrie att <strong>the</strong> date <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />

tack, paying <strong>the</strong>refore yearly 20 punds att <strong>the</strong> feist <strong>of</strong> Hallo wmes,<br />

subscryved att Edinburgh, 3" June 1607.<br />
