Remark : In Germany, 6PPD is the only phenylendiamine derivative which is<br />
permitted to be used in food contact applications. To reduce the migration<br />
of 6PPD various precautions are prescribed e.g. extensive washing<br />
procedures. There is a mandatory test procedure to check the content of<br />
6PPD in milk heated 10 min in contact with the test rubber.<br />
