SECTION 01 29 00 – PAYMENT PROCEDURES I. Monthly Applications for Payment: The following are to be included as attachments to each monthly application for payment: 1. Transmittal Letter 2. Attachment to Application for Payment (form attached at the end of this section) 3. Partial Waiver of Lien from all Subcontractors and Vendors 4. Monthly Manning Report 5. NJ State Certified Payroll Reports 6. Consent of Surety of Reduction in Retainage (only when retainage is reduced) 7. Monthly Construction Progress Photographs 8. Updated CPM Schedule. Monthly applications for payment will not be approved for payment until the monthly CPM schedule update is approved by the Construction Manager. J. Final Application for Payment: The following are to be included as attachments to the final application for payment: 1. Supplemental Attachment for Accord Certificate of Insurance – AIA Document G715 2. Affidavit of Payments of Debits and Claims – AIA Document G706 3. Affidavit of Release of Liens – AIA Document G706A 4. Consent of Surety to Final Payment – G707 5. Certification of Paid Wages in accordance with NJ Prevailing Wage Act 6. One Year Maintenance Bond 7. As-Built drawings 8. Maintenance and Operation Manuals and Instructions 9. Special written guarantees and warranties in addition to the one-year guarantee covered by Maintenance Bond . Guarantee shall be signed and sealed by Officer of the Contracting Firm and shall be notarized. SECTION 01 29 00 – PAYMENT PROCEDURES 1.4 WAIVER OF LIENS A. The Contractor, for himself, and for all Subcontractors and material men, agrees that no mechanic's lien or other claim shall be filed or maintained by the Contractor or by any Subcontractor, material man, laborer or any other person whatsoever for, or on account of any work performed or materials furnished under this Contract. This agreement shall execute and deliver a separate waiver of Liens in form and substance satisfactory to the Owner contemporaneously with the execution of the Owner-Contractor Agreement and before any work is begun at the site. B. In every subcontract entered into by the Contractor after execution of this Contract or in connection herewith, the Contractor shall incorporate a provision, similar to the foregoing paragraph, to the effect that neither the Subcontractor nor any party acting through or under him shall file or maintain any mechanic's lien or other claim against the Owner in connection with the Work. 1.5 TAXES A. The Owner is established under the authority of the State of New Jersey and is entitled to exemption from Federal, State and local taxes, including the New Jersey Sales Tax.
