SECTION 01 31 00 – PROJECT ADMINISTRATION AND PROCEDURES<br />

PART 1 - GENERAL<br />

1.1 SUMMARY<br />

A. This Section specifies administrative and supervisory requirements necessary for <strong>Project</strong> coordination<br />

including, but not necessarily limited to:<br />

1. <strong>Project</strong> Administration.<br />

2. Requests for Information.<br />

3. Submittals.<br />

1.2 PROJECT ADMINISTRATION<br />

A. All project related correspondence is to be issued to the Construction Manager, with carbon copies to<br />

the Architect.<br />

B. The Contractor is to submit construction daily reports to the Construction Manager at the end <strong>of</strong> each<br />

week. Daily reports must include the date, weather, subcontractors/vendors onsite, manpower count,<br />

equipment onsite, material deliveries, work description by area, etc. Payment applications will not be<br />

processed if daily reports are not submitted as required.<br />

1.3 REQUESTS FOR INFORMATION<br />

A. The Contractor is to prepare and submit a Request for Information (RFI) to the Construction Manager<br />

for action when a clarification and/or additional information are required to perform an activity <strong>of</strong> work.<br />

B. The request must include a drawing and/or specification reference when applicable and must also<br />

include a proposed solution for review by the Architect. Requests not provided with a recommended<br />

solution, if applicable, will be returned to the Contractor with no action until such recommendation is<br />

provided.<br />

C. The Architect will endeavor to respond to requests within (5) business days. Should a response not be<br />

received within this time period by the Architect, the Contractor will not be entitled to an extension <strong>of</strong><br />

time and/or additional incurred costs.<br />

1.4 SUBMITTALS<br />

A. The Contractor is to submit resumes for assigned project managers and superintendents to the project.<br />

B. The Contractor is to submit a company safety manual prior to onsite mobilization.<br />
