ARTICLE 6<br />
PROJECT SPECIFIC CONDITIONS<br />
6.1 Existing Finishes and Furniture<br />
6.1.1 The Contractor is to protect all finishes in the building by all means necessary to prevent damage.<br />
At a minimum, all floors and doors are to be protected at all times from contractor mobilization onsite through<br />
substantial completion. Wall finishes can be protected area to area when work is being performed. The Contractor<br />
will not be permitted to work in an area unless protection is installed and approved by the Construction Manager.<br />
6.1.2 The Contractor is responsible for damages caused by the Contractor and all Subcontractors to<br />
existing finishes, furniture and equipment as proven by the Construction Manager. The Contractor will be allowed to<br />
repair such damages at his cost as accepted by the Construction Manager, but if repairs cannot be made<br />
satisfactorily, the Contractor will be responsible for replacement costs.<br />
6.1.4 The Contractor is responsible to maintain temporary environment controls within the building<br />
relative to temperature and humidity so not to damage finishes, furniture and equipment.<br />
6.2 Storage <strong>of</strong> Materials and Equipment<br />
6.2.1 The Contractor will be permitted to store storage trailers containing materials and equipment on<br />
campus in a lot designated by the Construction Manager until such time the equipment and material is needed onsite.<br />
The Contractor is to include all costs related to double handling <strong>of</strong> such materials and equipment.<br />
6.3 Working Hours<br />
6.3.1 Working hours when the buildings are vacant shall be 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.<br />
