d. Removal <strong>of</strong> spots, paint and soil from resilient, glaze and unglazed<br />
masonry and ceramic flooring and wall work;<br />
e. Removal <strong>of</strong> temporary floor protections, clean, wash or otherwise treat<br />
and/or polish, as directed, all finished floors;<br />
f. Clean exterior and interior metal surfaces, including doors and window<br />
frames and hardware, <strong>of</strong> oil stains, dust, dirt, paint and the like, polish<br />
where applicable and leave without fingerprints or blemishes; and<br />
g. Restoration <strong>of</strong> all landscaping, roadway and walkways to pre-existing<br />
condition. Damage to trees and plantings shall be repaired in the next<br />
planting season, and such shall be guaranteed for one year from date <strong>of</strong><br />
repair and/or replanting.<br />
All construction equipment, materials or supplies <strong>of</strong> any kind, character or description <strong>of</strong> value belonging to the<br />
Contractor which remain on the job site for more than thirty (30) days from the date <strong>of</strong> the Certificate <strong>of</strong> Final<br />
Acceptance and Completion issued by the <strong>College</strong> to the Contractor, shall become the absolute property <strong>of</strong> the <strong>College</strong>.<br />
It will be disposed <strong>of</strong> in any manner the <strong>College</strong> shall deem reasonable and proper.<br />
4.7 Interruptions to Existing Services<br />
4.7.1 All connections to existing services shall be scheduled and coordinated in advance with the <strong>College</strong><br />
and done at a time convenient to the <strong>College</strong> so as not to unreasonably interfere with its operations which means<br />
weekends, holidays, or after business hours. The Contractor is to include costs in the bid proposal for all premium hour<br />
costs related to these connections. Contractor shall assume the highest premium labor rate for this work in preparation<br />
<strong>of</strong> the bid.<br />
4.8 Non-Regular Working Hours and Workdays<br />
4.8.1 Regular working hours shall be 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Changes thereto may<br />
be granted with written approval <strong>of</strong> the Contracting Officer. Any work required to be performed after regular working<br />
hours or on Saturdays, Sundays, or Legal Holidays as may be reasonably required consistent with contractual<br />
obligations, shall be performed without additional expense to the <strong>College</strong>. Contractor shall obtain approval <strong>of</strong> the<br />
Contracting Officer for performance <strong>of</strong> work after regular working hours or on non-regular work days at least 24 hours<br />
prior to the commencement <strong>of</strong> overtime, unless such overtime work is caused by an emergency.<br />
4.9 Record Documents<br />
4.9.1 The Contractor shall maintain at the site for the <strong>College</strong> one copy <strong>of</strong> the Drawings, Specifications,<br />
Addenda, Change Orders and other Modifications, in good order and marked currently to indicate field changes and<br />
selections made during construction, and one copy <strong>of</strong> approved Shop Drawings, Product Data, Samples and similar<br />
required submittals. These documents shall be available to the Architect and delivered to the Construction Manager<br />
for submittal to the <strong>College</strong> upon completion <strong>of</strong> the Work as a record <strong>of</strong> the Work as constructed.<br />
4.9.2 During construction, the Contractor shall keep an accurate record <strong>of</strong> all deviations, between work<br />
as shown on drawings and that which is actually installed. Particular attention is directed to invert elevations,<br />
locations <strong>of</strong> underground lines, change orders, etc. The Contractor shall during the course <strong>of</strong> the project, mark these<br />
drawings with colored pencils. All buried utilities outside the building shall be located by a metes and bounds survey<br />
performed by a licensed surveyor who shall certify as to its accuracy. These marked-up drawings and surveys shall be<br />
made available to the Contracting Officer at any time during the progress <strong>of</strong> the work, upon its request. These shall<br />
include the drawings <strong>of</strong> principal sub-contractors as well.<br />
