Hamilton Associates (1996)<br />

Hamilton Associates (1996) estimated the safety effects <strong>of</strong> traffic calming by analysing<br />

four traffic calming projects in the Greater Vancouver area. Site selection was based on<br />

the availability <strong>of</strong> data. A description <strong>of</strong> each traffic calming project is provided in Table<br />

10.4. Crashes on internal neighbourhood streets were included in the analysis.<br />
