Traffic Management Sub-Plan<br />

i) details of how construction of project infrastructure will be managed in<br />

proximity <strong>to</strong> local and regional roads,<br />

ii) details of traffic routes for heavy vehicles, including any necessary route<br />

or timing restrictions for oversized loads,<br />

iii) construction vehicle volumes (construction personnel, heavy vehicle<br />

movements and oversized loads),<br />

iv) measures <strong>to</strong> ensure traffic volume, acoustic and amenity impacts along<br />

construction vehicle routes are minimised,<br />

v) details of construction activities that would require disruption <strong>to</strong> traffic<br />

such as road closures and measures <strong>to</strong> minimise impacts,<br />

vi) a Construction Vehicle Code of Conduct <strong>to</strong> set driver behaviour controls<br />

<strong>to</strong> minimise impacts on land uses along haulage routes, and<br />

vii) evidence that all statu<strong>to</strong>ry responsibilities with regard <strong>to</strong> road traffic<br />

impacts have been complied with;<br />

3.4 RELATED MANAGEMENT PLANS<br />

This Sub-Plan forms part of an overarching Construction Environmental<br />

Management Plan (CEMP) for the Project. Where relevant, reference should<br />

also be made <strong>to</strong> the other Sub-Plans for the Project list in Table 3.3.<br />

3.5 GUIDELINES AND STANDARDS<br />

The guidelines referenced in relation <strong>to</strong> traffic management for the Project are<br />

listed in Table 3.4 and Table 3.5. The Country <strong>Energy</strong> Guidelines are attached<br />

in Annex A. The CEM7022 Environmental Operations Manual provides details of<br />

potential issues, procedures and mitigation measures for the range of<br />

potential environmental issues. Preparation of this SWM Sub-Plan has been<br />

based on the requirements provided in these documents.<br />
