Certification<br />
<strong>Graduate</strong>s <strong>of</strong> the master's degree program are eligible to take certification examinations in<br />
specialized areas <strong>of</strong> advanced nursing practice. Only students who have completed all the<br />
requirements for the master's degree are approved to sit for these examinations. Information<br />
about nationally recognized certification exams and those for which individual students are<br />
eligible is available in the Office <strong>of</strong> Advanced Practice Nursing, room 202. The assistant dean<br />
for advanced practice nursing is the person responsible for signing your eligibility form<br />
verifying that you have completed the required courses in the program <strong>of</strong> study.<br />
