Loans<br />
The College <strong>of</strong> Nursing Alumni Association administers a student emergency loan fund. In<br />
1982 this fund was renamed the Claudine Gartner Loan Fund in memory <strong>of</strong> Claudine Gartner,<br />
a longtime College <strong>of</strong> Nursing faculty member. The purpose <strong>of</strong> this fund is to assist students in<br />
emergency financial situations when other sources <strong>of</strong> financial assistance are not available. In<br />
order to maintain the fund the recipient is expected to sign a note <strong>of</strong> repayment.<br />
The <strong>Graduate</strong> <strong>Student</strong> Admission and Progression Committee <strong>of</strong> the College makes<br />
recommendations for loans. For more information or application for funds, inquiries should be<br />
