<strong>Graduate</strong> <strong>Student</strong> Room and Computer Room<br />
The <strong>Graduate</strong> <strong>Student</strong> Room is located in room 501 <strong>of</strong> the College. This room is intended for<br />
use as a study and student meeting area. Also located in this area is a small computer room for<br />
use by College <strong>of</strong> Nursing graduate students only. The computer s<strong>of</strong>tware on these machines<br />
includes Mozilla, Internet Explorer, Micros<strong>of</strong>t Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access,<br />
Publisher), SAS for the PC, SPSS for the PC, NVivo (for qualitative data analysis), and<br />
EndNote. Please use a disk, writeable CD, USB Flash drive or other portable storage media for<br />
your data when using the lab PCs. The computers do not save any data.<br />
Located in the computer room are the <strong>of</strong>fices <strong>of</strong> Brenda Ghaelian, manager <strong>of</strong> information<br />
technology for the College and Ben Nicholls, the LAN administrator and primary provider <strong>of</strong><br />
computer support for faculty and staff in the College. Brenda assists faculty with the use <strong>of</strong><br />
information technologies in the teaching environment and provides training and user support<br />
for faculty. Ben is responsible for the College's hardware, network, and s<strong>of</strong>tware applications.<br />
He also maintains the hardware and s<strong>of</strong>tware in the computer room. Problems with hardware<br />
or s<strong>of</strong>tware on these computers should be called to his attention via e-mail.<br />
