• UK student IDs and the new UK Faculty/Staff ID cards (available for $10 at 107<br />
<strong>Student</strong> Center) can have PLUS account money added to these cards which will be<br />
accepted by the printers. PLUS accounts can be opened at 239 <strong>Student</strong> Center for any<br />
whole dollar amount. (PLUS service also is available at <strong>Student</strong> Billing Services,<br />
business <strong>of</strong>fices at Blazer and Commons Market.) (323-5300)<br />
Medical Center Audio Visual Library (AVL). The AVL, located on the sixth floor <strong>of</strong> the<br />
College <strong>of</strong> Nursing building, houses only AV materials. It serves the students, staff and faculty<br />
<strong>of</strong> all the medical center colleges as well as other members <strong>of</strong> the <strong>University</strong> community and<br />
the general public. You will be able to use viewing equipment, study carrels and private<br />
meeting rooms located here. Vending machines are located in the lounge. AVL hours are<br />
posted but generally the library opens at 8 a.m. during the week and remains available during<br />
the evening. Check the postings at the beginning <strong>of</strong> each semester for special hours. If you<br />
choose to use the AVL after 6 p.m. you must show a medical center ID to be admitted (323-<br />
6571).<br />
Education Library (EDL). The Education Library is housed on the second floor <strong>of</strong> Dickey<br />
Hall. The library opens at 8 a.m. during the week and remains available in the evening.<br />
