Advanced Nurse Education Traineeships<br />
Advanced Nurse Education Traineeships are awarded to selected students. These awards<br />
usually cover tuition, and on rare occasions, may include stipends. Traineeships are awarded<br />
for nine month blocks so most are awarded in the fall for the full academic year. <strong>Student</strong>s<br />
enrolled or with applications completed by March 1 or November 1 are considered for<br />
traineeships. A College <strong>of</strong> Nursing Application for Scholarship/Service Awards must be on<br />
file. The <strong>Graduate</strong> <strong>Student</strong> Admission and Progression Committee recommends these awards<br />
based on consideration <strong>of</strong> the GPA/GRE. Traineeships require good academic standing. In<br />
order to be eligible, students must be citizens <strong>of</strong> the United States or hold green cards showing<br />
they are permanent residents <strong>of</strong> the U.S., and enrolled full time. Part-time students are eligible<br />
for funds during their last year.<br />
