Compatibility Matrix
Figure 2 on page 21 and Figure 3 on page 22 show the timeline of
introductions of Agilent 1100/1200 firmware versus the Agilent ChemStations
since firmware revision A.05.01.
NOTE
Firmware used in a system should always be within a firmware revision set to assure full
compatibility in the system. See also information on “Revision Numbering” on page 12
Sets are:
• A.05.01/A.05.03
• A.05.04/A.05.05
• A.05.06/A.05.09/A.05.10 (some modules remained on A.05.06)
• A.05.11/A.05.12
• A.06.01 and B.01.01
• A.06.02/A.06.0x and B.01.02/B.01.0x
• A.06.1x and B.06.1x/B.06.2x/B.06.3x
• A.06.1x and B.06.2x (1290 Infinity LC System)
• A.06.3x and B.06.3x (1290 Infinity LC System)
NOTE
If 1290 Infinity LC modules are added into existing 1100/1200 systems, then the 1100/1200
must have A.06.1x and B.06.1x to work with A.06.1x and B.06.2x (1290). The same is true for
adding 1100/1200 modules into a 1290 Infinity LC system.
Table 2 on page 19 gives a quick overview.
Figure 2 on page 21 shows the full compatibility with 1200 series modules.
Figure 3 on page 22 shows the possible compatibility of 1200 series modules
with 1100 series modules using the “1100/1200 Series Compatibility and
Emulation Mode” on page 68.
Table 3 on page 24 lists the requirements for the Agilent 1290 Infinity LC
System.
