With the introduction of the <strong>Agilent</strong> LabAdvisor Software / Instrument<br />
Utilities B.01.03 in July 2009, the firmware of the <strong>Agilent</strong> 1100/1200/1290<br />
Series modules can updated by these softwares as well.<br />
Instrument Utilities<br />
The Instrument Utilities (bundled into any 1200/1290 pump) provides basic<br />
access to the <strong>Agilent</strong> 1100/1200/1290 Series modules for maintenance and<br />
tests. This includes firmware updates.<br />
LabAdvisor Software<br />
The LabAdvisor Software (bundled into any 1200/1290 pump, when ordered)<br />
provides basic/extended access to the <strong>Agilent</strong> 1100/1200/1290 Series modules<br />
for maintenance and tests and diagnostics (depending on the licence). This<br />
includes firmware updates.<br />
NOTE<br />
Both, the <strong>Agilent</strong> LabAdvisor Software and Instrument Utilities will show up as “<strong>Agilent</strong><br />
LabAdvisor” after installation. The difference is in the access level of functions.<br />
Therefore, this chapter will use the term “LabAdvisor” only.<br />
