Configure the LAN/RS-232 <strong>Firmware</strong> <strong>Update</strong> Tool<br />

1 Select the button Configure Directories and browse for the location of the<br />

firmware files (e.g. E:\Fwupgrad\LC).<br />

NOTE<br />

The firmware files for the Control Module (G1323B) or Instant Pilot (G4208A) must be in<br />

this firmware directory as well. Otherwise these cannot be upgraded when the modules are<br />

updated (see information on “<strong>Update</strong> Durations” on page 44.<br />

The Protocol file is a text file which gives the complete status of the<br />

firmware update process. This file is useful as a compliance document to<br />

prove that the module firmware files were updated successfully or as<br />

diagnostics information in case of problems, see “The Log-file” on page 61.<br />

Therefore, name the protocol file appropriately.<br />
