Not many in the Third
The Texans used their first pick in the third round (79th overall) on
CB Antwaun Molden from Eastern Kentucky. Molden is the first
defensive player drafted by the team in the third round since 2003,
when the Texans drafted LB Antwan Peek with the 67th overall
pick. The pick breaks a string of six straight offensive players taken
in the third round by Houston.
