2005 (<strong>Houston</strong> 13/13): Started 13 games, missing<br />

three with a nagging calf injury that plagued<br />

him all season…made 63 catches for 688 yards<br />

and two touchdowns…led the team with two<br />

100-yard receiving games…was inactive due to<br />

injury at Seattle (10/16), vs. Indianapolis (10/23),<br />

vs. Cleveland (10/30)…set season-highs with<br />

nine catches for 91 yards to lead the <strong>Texans</strong><br />

in his first game back from a calf injury at<br />

Jacksonville (11/6)…matched a single-game high<br />

12 receptions for a season-high 159 yards and<br />

and youngest AFC offensive selection…caught<br />

four passes for 58 yards in season opener vs.<br />

San Diego (9/12)…paced team with six catches<br />

for 115 yards and a score, helping <strong>Texans</strong> win<br />

consecutive games for the first time vs. Oakland<br />

(10/3)…set team and personal marks with 12<br />

catches for 170 yards and also tied personal and<br />

club record with two TD receptions vs. Minnesota<br />

2003 (<strong>Houston</strong> 16/16): Started all 16 games,<br />

recording at least one catch in each contest…<br />

led the <strong>Texans</strong> with 66 catches for 976 yards<br />

(14.8 avg.) and four TDs…named NFL Rookie of<br />

the Week after his performances in Week 4 and<br />

Week 11…made NFL debut in season-opening<br />

win at Miami (9/7), snagging a team- high six<br />

receptions for 76 yards…gained a team-high 71<br />

receiving yards on five catches at New Orleans<br />

(9/14)…caught a game-high seven catches for<br />

102 yards and scored first two career TDs, tying<br />

the club’s single-game record vs. Kansas City<br />

(9/21)…led both teams with eight catches for<br />

97 yards in win over Jacksonville (9/28), earning<br />

initial NFL Rookie of the Week honors…snagged<br />

ranking fifth on the school’s all-time receiving<br />

yards list…added 11 receptions for 253 yards<br />

and two TDs in two bowl games…only Michael<br />

Irvin (26) and Lamar Thomas (23) had more career<br />
