2007 (<strong>Houston</strong> 12/12): Played in 12 games<br />

this season, starting all at right guard…was<br />

placed on injured reserve when he suffered a<br />

broken right leg in the second quarter against<br />

Tennessee (12/2)…opened the season in the<br />

<strong>Texans</strong> starting lineup for the first time since<br />

2003, when he took the field against Kansas<br />

City (9/9) at right guard…made the 40th start<br />

of his career and appeared in his 60th games<br />

at Oakland (11/4)…made the final start of the<br />

season at Tennessee (12/2)…broke his right leg<br />

forcing him to the injured reserve list for the first<br />

time in his career.<br />

2006 (<strong>Houston</strong> 15/12): Had his best season,<br />

starting 12 games and playing in three others…<br />

was considered the <strong>Texans</strong>’ best offensive<br />

lineman over the second half of the season…<br />

part of a line that produced two of the three best<br />

rushing performances in franchise history.<br />

2005 (<strong>Houston</strong> 4/4): Played in four games,<br />

starting the final four games of the season at<br />

RG…made first start of the season at RG at<br />

two at right guard…saw reserve action at G in<br />

season-opening win at Miami (9/7)…played<br />

at LG for an injured Todd Washington against<br />

Kansas City (9/21)…started at RG at Tampa Bay<br />

2002 (<strong>Houston</strong> 16/12): Played in 16 games with<br />

12 starts…started first four games of rookie<br />

season at RG before assuming backup role<br />

to Ryan Schau…resumed starting spot when<br />

Schau was placed on injured reserve with a foot<br />

injury…made first career start in NFL debut in<br />

season-opening win over Dallas (9/8).<br />

COLLEGE: Recruited by Tennessee as a<br />

defensive tackle, then moved to guard as<br />

a redshirt sophomore, only to move center<br />

following year…played center as a junior and<br />

guard again as a senior…started every game at<br />

left guard in 2001…earned All-America honors<br />

his final season and was an All-Southeastern<br />

Conference first-team pick…moved from guard<br />
