SportsRadio 610 (KILT 610AM) and heritage<br />
country radio station KILT-FM (100.3 FM) are<br />
the flagship stations and broadcast home<br />
for the <strong>Houston</strong> <strong>Texans</strong> Radio Network. The<br />
game broadcasts are simulcast on both<br />
stations with SportsRadio 610 broadcasting<br />
pre and post-game programs in addition to<br />
weekly player and coach’s shows. CBS Radio<br />
<strong>Houston</strong> sister stations Hot 95-7 and CNN 650<br />
Radio News are promotional partners with the<br />
<strong>Houston</strong> <strong>Texans</strong> as well.<br />
SportsRadio 610 morning co-host Marc<br />
Vandermeer enters his seventh season as the<br />
“Voice of the <strong>Houston</strong> <strong>Texans</strong>”. Vandermeer<br />
brings a solid 20 years of broadcasting<br />
experience to the booth. Prior to his work<br />
in <strong>Houston</strong>, Vandermeer was the voice of the<br />
University of Miami Hurricanes football and<br />
basketball teams. Joining Vandermeer in the<br />
booth to provide analysis is Heisman Trophy<br />
winner and SportsRadio 610 morning co-host<br />
Andre Ware. Ware, a native <strong>Houston</strong>ian,<br />
played his college football at the University<br />
of <strong>Houston</strong> before becoming the first-round<br />
draft pick of the Detroit Lions. After his football career, Ware the jump into the broadcast booth as<br />
color commentator for the <strong>Houston</strong> Cougars. He currently serves as an analyst for college football<br />
games on ESPN. Ware was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2004. Long time <strong>Houston</strong><br />
broadcaster and SportsRadio 610 Afternoon co-host is Rich Lord.<br />
CBS Radio signed a 10-year agreement with the <strong>Houston</strong> <strong>Texans</strong> in September 2000. This agreement<br />
gave CBS Radio the Exclusive right to broadcast <strong>Houston</strong> <strong>Texans</strong> Football through the 2012 season as<br />
well as produce numerous ancillary programming for the team.<br />
