2007: Moved into the starting lineup at left cornerback,<br />

finishing fifth on the team with a careerhigh<br />

72 tackles (43 solos), including 2.5 stops for<br />

losses of five yards…recovered a fumble, deflected<br />

nine passes and intercepted two others<br />

for a loss of five yards…made 29 plays vs. the<br />

run and 42 vs. the pass, allowing 29 first downs,<br />

including 22 on receptions…allowed 48.05% of<br />

those pass attempts to be completed, giving up<br />

7.08 yards per pass attempt.<br />

2006: Saw considerable action in the Colonels’<br />

sub package, appearing in ten games…ranked<br />

eighth on the team with 36 tackles (18 solos), including<br />

one for a two-yard loss…also deflected<br />

a pass.<br />

2005: Joined the Colonels in time for fall camp,<br />

playing in all eleven games…recorded 37 tackles<br />

(27 solos), ranking tenth on the team, as one<br />

of those stops was good for a one-yard loss…recovered<br />

two fumbles and deflected one pass…<br />

also had a 23-yard interception return.<br />

2004: Appeared in all thirteen games as a reserve<br />

cornerback and free safety at Toledo, but saw<br />

most of his action on the coverage units…finished<br />

with twelve tackles (6 solos).<br />

Green Closing in on 9,000<br />

<strong>Texans</strong> RB Ahman Green ranks seventh among active backs with 8,751 career<br />

rushing yards, and his 11,368 total yards rank eighth among active players.<br />

Green needs just 249 rushing yards to reach 9,000 for his career. He would<br />

become the 27th player in NFL history to rush for at least 9,000 yards.<br />
