Earliest Offensive Lineman
With the 26th overall pick in the 2008 NFL Draft, Houston selected
T Duane Brown out of Virginia Tech. That was the earliest that the
Texans have ever drafted an offensive lineman. G Chester Pitts had
been the highest-drafted Texans lineman prior to this year. He was
selected with the 50th overall pick in the second round in 2002.
