2004 (Cleveland 16/13): Played in all 16 games,
including 13 starts at strongside linebacker…
finished with 80 tackles, including 41 solo, 2.5
sacks for 15.5 yards, five passes defensed and
one fumble recovery…made his first career
start in the season opener vs. Baltimore (9/12)
and made one tackle…recorded his first career
sack for a five-yard loss vs. Pittsburgh (11/14)…
made a career-high 1.5 sacks for 10 yards in
losses vs. the New York Jets (11/21).
2003 (Cleveland 16/0): Appeared in all 16 regular
season games as a rookie and ranked fifth on
the club with 11 special teams tackles…also
contributed four tackles, including three solos,
in the base defense…made his NFL debut and
had two special teams tackles vs. Indianapolis
(9/7)…saw his first action at LB at San Francisco
(9/21) and recorded a season-high two tackles.
COLLEGE: Finished his career with 358 tackles,
172 solo, eight sacks for 76 yards, 40 tackles
for loss, three fumble recoveries, two forced
fumbles, three interceptions and nine passes
defensed in 44 games at West Texas A&M…
registered at least 100 tackles his last three
seasons…All-Lone Star Conference first-team
choice and named Southern Division Linebacker
of the Year…finished work in the spring of 2005
and received his bachelor of science degree in
sports exercise and science.
PERSONAL: Attended Mt. Pleasant (Texas) High,
earning all-district, All-East Texas and all-state
honors as a punter…added all-district honors
as a DB and TE…also lettered in basketball and
track…he and his wife, Faith, have a daughter,
Charish Cali, and he also has a son, Ka Maury.
