DE Mario Williams Shines<br />

In Primetime<br />

In the <strong>Texans</strong> first-ever Thursday night game, DE Mario Williams was<br />

at home on the national stage. Williams recorded a career-high and<br />

franchise-record 3.5 sacks and tied his career high with seven tackles.<br />

Williams dropped Broncos QB Jay Cutler once in the second, third, and<br />

fourth quarters and he split another sack with DE N.D. Kalu on Denver’s last<br />

possession. He was named AFC Defensive Player of the Week for the<br />

second time this season.<br />
