DE Mario Williams Shines
In Primetime
In the Texans first-ever Thursday night game, DE Mario Williams was
at home on the national stage. Williams recorded a career-high and
franchise-record 3.5 sacks and tied his career high with seven tackles.
Williams dropped Broncos QB Jay Cutler once in the second, third, and
fourth quarters and he split another sack with DE N.D. Kalu on Denver’s last
possession. He was named AFC Defensive Player of the Week for the
second time this season.
