1997 (Pittsburgh 16/16): Started all 16 games and<br />
both playoff contests…caught 18 passes for 117<br />
yards and a career-best six TDs…finished as the<br />
Steelers’ fourth-leading scorer…hauled in five<br />
passes for 43 yards s. New England (12/13)…<br />
scored the game-tying TD with 38 seconds left<br />
to send the game into overtime…had one catch<br />
for 16 yards vs. Denver in the AFC Championship<br />

1996 (Pittsburgh 12/12): Started 12 games,<br />
catching 12 passes for 141 yards (11.8 avg.)…<br />
had season-high three catches for 29 yards vs.<br />
<strong>Houston</strong> (9/29)…caught two-point conversion<br />
pass at Kansas City (10/7)…suffered seasonending<br />
knee injury at Miami (11/25), after making<br />
career-long 36-yard grab on a second-quarter TD<br />
drive…had surgery on 11/28 and was placed on<br />
injured reserve.<br />

COLLEGE: Three-year starter who finished<br />
career as Washington’s school-record holder<br />
for catches by a tight end with 90, ranking eighth<br />
overall…totaled 1,012 receiving yards to rank<br />
third on school receiving yardage list for a tight<br />
end…started every game as a senior and finished<br />
second on team with 34 receptions for 331 yards<br />
and one TD…earned first-team All-America<br />
honors by Newspaper Enterprise Association<br />
