Signed by the <strong>Houston</strong> <strong>Texans</strong> as an undrafted free agent on April 29, 2008…compiled 90 receptions<br />
for 1,274 yards and five touchdowns…finished his senior season with 31 receptions for 619 yards<br />
and two touchdowns…recorded 11 rushing attempts for 53 yards…recorded three 100-yard games<br />
in his final season…started the first three games in 2006 and was leading the team in receiving before<br />
an injury sidelined him for the remainder of the season...caught 13 passes for 183 yards (14.1-<br />
yard average)…played in 10 games, missing two with an injury his junior season...ranked fourth on<br />
the team with a career-high 25 receptions for 242 yards (9.7-yard average) and two touchdowns...<br />
also returned eight punts for 64 yards and led the team with eight kickoff returns for 175 yards (21.9<br />

one day after arriving on campus (vs. Utah State on Sept. 16...recorded a season-high seven tackles,<br />
including 2.0 tackles for loss, against UNLV…sociology major at Utah..attended Fullerton College<br />
(2003-04)…2004 first-team All-American by J.C Grid-Wire...Super Prep JUCO 100 and JC Athletic Bureau<br />
all-California Region IV first team as a sophomore and junior…first-team all-conference and<br />
unanimous selection for 2004 Mission Conference National Division Player of the Year as voted on<br />
by the league’s coaches…recorded 145 tackles (65 solo), 35 tackles for loss, 21 sacks, 9 pass breakups,<br />

Team selection in 2007…second on the team with 104 tackles, plus 12 tackles for loss…semifinalist<br />
for the Butkus and a quarterfinalist for Lott Trophy…named Camp & Nagurski National Defensive<br />
Player of the Week and Big East Defensive Player of the Week after picking off two passes, including<br />
one for a TD, against West Virginia…named the team’s Outstanding Front Seven Player with a<br />
team-high 112 tackles in 2006…started all 12 games at middle linebacker and led the team with 96<br />
tackles, including 15 for loss and 2.5 sacks in 2005…earned Conference USA all-freshman honors…<br />
won Defensive Golden Bull Award as the top scout team player his redshirt season…attended South<br />
Sumter High School…Leesburg Commercial Defensive Player of the Year with 141 tackles, 20 for<br />
losses and 11 sacks in 2002…also a weightlifter, he broke the state record (238-pound weight class)<br />
