Kansas City (10/21) and completed his only pass<br />
attempt for a career-long 77-yard touchdown<br />
to WR Chris Chambers…started at Cleveland<br />
(11/20) and finished five-for-10 passing for 14<br />
yards…stepped in vs. Buffalo (12/4) and led<br />
the biggest come-from-behind victory in the<br />
fourth quarter in Dolphins history, rallying the<br />
team from a 23-3 deficit to a 24-23 win…finished<br />
that game with 272 yards on 22-of-37 passing<br />
with two touchdowns and one interception in<br />
his first-career victory…started the second<br />
half vs. New York Jets (12/18) when the score<br />
was tied 10-10 and completed six of his 13 pass<br />
attempts for 99 yards with one touchdown and<br />
no interceptions…led the team to a 24-20 win,<br />
giving him his second fourth-quarter comeback<br />
win of the season.<br />
2004 (Miami 3/1): Played in three games with<br />
one start…started the first game of his career<br />
for injured QB A.J. Feeley in the team’s season<br />
finale at Baltimore (1/2/05)…completed 16-of-38<br />
passes for 264 yards with one touchdown and<br />
three interceptions…completed the Dolphins’<br />
longest pass play of the season on a 76-yard<br />
touchdown pass to Chambers on the first play<br />
from scrimmage.<br />
2003 (Miami 2/0): Appeared in two games, both<br />
as a reserve, and finished the season with four<br />
completions on six pass attempts for 50 yards<br />
and one touchdown for a 131.9 passer rating…<br />
totaled 50 passing yards and one touchdown<br />
with no interceptions on four-of-six passing, all<br />
in a 31-7 loss at Tennessee (11/9)…notched his<br />
first-career completion on a five-yard pass to<br />
running back Travis Minor…threw first-career<br />
touchdown to Donald Lee.<br />
2002 (Miami 4/0): Played in four games as a<br />
reserve, in his first season with the Dolphins…<br />
finished with zero completions on three attempts<br />
during his Dolphins’ debut in Miami’s Monday<br />
night game at Green Bay (11/4).<br />
2001 (Washington 0/0): Did not see any<br />
game action, spending most of the season<br />
as Washington’s third quarterback…was<br />
promoted to backup quarterback in two games,<br />
but did not play.<br />
COLLEGE: Was a four-year letterman at Iowa<br />
State from 1997-2000…finished with 4,164<br />
passing yards with 19 touchdowns and 26<br />
interceptions on 306-of-587 passing during his<br />
four-year career, including the last two as a<br />
starter…totaled 660 career rushing yards and 14<br />
touchdowns on 164 carries…led the Cyclones<br />
to their first bowl appearance in 22 years, as<br />
well as Iowa State’s first-ever postseason win,<br />
when he helped beat Pittsburgh in the Insight.<br />

a 9-3 record…completed 172-of-333 passes<br />
for 2,298 yards and eight touchdowns as a<br />
senior co-captain…rushed for 381 yards and<br />
10 touchdowns…redshirted as a freshman in<br />

PERSONAL: Attended Maquoketa (Ia.) High<br />
School, where he lettered in football, basketball,<br />
baseball, tennis, and track for the Cardinals…<br />
was an all-state selection in baseball, basketball,<br />
and football…majored in marketing…grew up<br />
on an 11-acre property in Maquoketa, a town<br />
with a population of almost 6,500 near the<br />
Iowa/Illinois border…born Sage Rosenfels in<br />
Maquoketa, Iowa…he and his wife, Maria, have<br />
two children: daughter, Ava and son, Peyton.<br />
