at defensive end, collecting 56 tackles (19 solo), six tackles for loss, three sacks, one INT, one pass<br />
breakup and three fumble recoveries in his final season...garnered second-team all-conference<br />
honors...voted team captain before each of CSU’s 12 games, the only Rams defender to receive that<br />
honor for each contest...received consideration for the National Scholar Athlete Award, the Draddy<br />
Trophy and the Ted Hendricks Award…named to the preseason all-MWC first team by Athlon and to<br />
the second team by Lindy’s as a junior…honorable mention all-conference after his sophomore season...also<br />
recognized by ESPN The Magazine as a second-team academic all-district choice, and<br />
earned a spot on the conference’s academic team…finished sophomore season with 56 tackles,<br />
sixth on the team and most by a Rams defensive lineman...business administration major…attended<br />

season with 60 total tackles and two sacks…also recorded one interception…started all 12 games<br />
as a senior…started 11 games as a junior…recorded 40 tackles and 1.5 sacks as a junior…sports<br />
and fitness management major at Troy...played defensive back at Pensacola HS...earned Florida<br />
Sportswriters Association All-State honorable mention in 2002 after tallying 72 tackles, four sacks,<br />
six forced fumbles, six interceptions and two interception returns for touchdowns…named to the<br />
first-team All-Area squad at free safety by the Pensacola News-Journal in 2002…also ran track<br />
at PHS posting personal bests in the 100m (10.8 sec), 400m (50 sec) and triple jump (44”)…has four<br />

Good Pair Under Center<br />
<strong>Texans</strong> QBs Matt Schaub and Sage Rosenfels each had stellar<br />
years in 2007. Both players set career marks in yards, attempts,<br />
completions and touchdowns. In 11 starts, Schaub completed<br />
192-of-289 attempts for 2,241 yards and nine touchdowns, while<br />
Rosenfels connected on 154-of-240 passes for 1,684 yards and 15<br />
touchdowns.<br />
The <strong>Texans</strong> were one of only two teams in the NFL to have two<br />
quarterbacks both pass for over 1,500 yards, and they were the only<br />
team in the league with a pair of passers to each throw for at least<br />
nine touchdowns.<br />
