2006 (<strong>Houston</strong> 15/4): Used more extensively in<br />

the offense, seeing action in 15 games with four<br />

starts…caught two touchdown passes…finished<br />

with nine catches for 62 yards, his highest total<br />

since the 2002 season…caught his first pass<br />

of the season for a one-yard touchdown at<br />

Indianapolis (9/17)…saw extensive action at tight<br />

end, catching a TD pass in consecutive games,<br />

this time for two yards vs. Washington (9/24)…<br />

had a season-high two catches for 26 yards…<br />

caught season-long reception of 25 yards to help<br />

set up a touchdown vs. Indianapolis (12/24).<br />

2005 (<strong>Houston</strong> 16/15): Played in 16 games,<br />

starting 15…caught two passes for 22 yards…<br />

also returned one kickoff for 11 yards…caught<br />

one pass for a team-long 19-yard gain in season<br />

opener at Buffalo (9/11)…also returned a kickoff<br />

for 11 yards…had one catch for three yards vs.<br />

St. Louis (11/27).<br />

2004 (<strong>Houston</strong> 16/11): Played in all 16 games for<br />

the first time in four seasons, starting 11…caught<br />

four passes for 52 yards and helped the <strong>Texans</strong><br />

rush for a club-record 1,882 yards…recorded his<br />

first catch as a Texan, a seven-yard reception,<br />

in season opener vs. San Diego (9/12)…hauled<br />

in season-long 27-yard pass in overtime loss to<br />

Minnesota (10/10)…caught one pass for 12 yards<br />

in win over Tennessee (11/28).<br />

2003 (Pittsburgh 14/0): Played in 14 games for the<br />

Steelers…caught two passes for 12 yards and<br />

one TD, the 16th of his career…scored on a oneyard<br />

toss from QB Tommy Maddox in 13-6 win at<br />

Cleveland (11/23), the only TD of the game.<br />

2002 (Pittsburgh 12/12): Started 12 games before<br />

landing on injured reserve with a knee injury…<br />

caught 13 passes for 66 yards and one score…<br />

caught four passes for 25 yards at New England<br />

(9/9), the second-most receptions of his career…<br />

scored on a one-yard toss from Maddox in 23-<br />

20 win at Cleveland (11/3)…placed on injured<br />

reserve on 12/3.<br />

2001 (Pittsburgh 9/0): Started nine games before<br />

landing on injured reserve with a shoulder<br />

injury…caught 12 passes for 98 yards…hauled<br />

in two passes for four yards at Jacksonville<br />

(9/9)…caught one pass for 15 yards vs. Cincinnati<br />

(10/7)…posted three receptions for 36 yards vs.<br />

Tennessee (10/29)…hauled in two passes for 14<br />

yards vs. Jaguars (11/18) before leaving the game<br />

in the first half with a shoulder injury…placed on<br />

injured reserve on 11/21.<br />

2000 (Pittsburgh 16/16): Started all 16 games,<br />

finishing with 17 catches for 192 yards (11.3 avg.)<br />

and three TDs, his highest scoring output in two<br />

seasons…caught two passes for 27 yards vs.<br />

Baltimore (9/3)…scored on a 30-yard TD pass at<br />

Tennessee (11/5)…grabbed a six yard scoring<br />

strike vs. Oakland (12/3).<br />

1999 (Pittsburgh 14/14): Started 14 games before<br />

missing the final two games of the season with<br />

a foot sprain…finished with 18 receptions for<br />

176 yards…caught three passes for 25 yards vs.<br />

Seattle (9/19)…caught two passes for a careerhigh<br />

51 yards vs. Cincinnati (11/28), including a<br />

29-yarder…posted three receptions for 27 yards<br />

vs. Jacksonville (12/2)…had two catches for 33<br />

yards vs. Baltimore (12/12).<br />

1998 (Pittsburgh 16/16): Started all 16 games,<br />

collecting 19 receptions for 157 yards and<br />

two TDs…caught three passes for 38 yards<br />

vs. Chicago (9/13)…had a season-high three<br />

receptions for 19 yards vs. Tennessee (11/1)…<br />

recovered an onside kick to preserve win over<br />

Green Bay (11/9)…caught three passes for 29<br />

yards vs. New England (12/6)…posted three<br />

receptions for 22 yards at Jacksonville (12/28).<br />
