Offensive Assistant<br />

3rd NFL Season • 3rd with <strong>Texans</strong><br />

Mike McDaniel enters his third season as a<br />

coach in the NFL, serving as the <strong>Texans</strong> offensive<br />

assistant, handling the quality control<br />

aspects of the offense.<br />

He will assist Kyle Shanahan with the <strong>Texans</strong>’<br />

quarterbacks. In his first season with the <strong>Texans</strong>,<br />

McDaniel assisted Shanahan in coaching the<br />

wide receivers and worked with Pro Bowl receiver<br />

Andre Johnson. McDaniel worked with<br />

receivers coach Larry Kirksey last season.<br />

The 25-year-old McDaniel spent the 2005 season<br />

as a coaching intern under <strong>Texans</strong> head<br />

coach Gary Kubiak with the Denver Broncos.<br />

The Greeley, Colo. native played collegiately at<br />

Yale as a wide receiver from 2001-04.<br />

Robert Saleh enters his fourth season with the<br />

<strong>Houston</strong> <strong>Texans</strong>, where he serves as defensive<br />

assistant, handling the quality control aspects of<br />

the defense and helping defensive coordinator<br />

Saleh joined the <strong>Texans</strong> as a coaching intern<br />

during the 2005 season after spending the previous<br />

three seasons coaching at the collegiate<br />

level. He spent time at the University of Georgia<br />

in 2005, where head coach Mark Richt tabbed<br />

him as a defensive assistant.<br />

he worked primarily with the defensive line and<br />

defensive backs.<br />

Prior to his season at Central Michigan, Saleh<br />

spent two seasons at Michigan State (2002-03)<br />

as an offensive assistant for former head coach<br />

Bobby Williams and a defensive assistant for<br />

head coach John L. Smith. Saleh is a native<br />

of Dearborn, Mich. and attended Northern<br />

Michigan University, where he started at tight<br />

end for four seasons.<br />

Saleh resides in Pearland with his wife, Sanaa.<br />
