playoff game vs. Miami (1/9/00)…made his mark<br />
on special teams as the club’s main kickoff<br />
returner, finishing with a 22.7-yard average on<br />
36 returns for 818 yards, ranking sixth in the<br />
AFC…was Seattle’s second-leading rusher with<br />
120 yards on 26 carries (4.6 avg.)…rushed three<br />
times for 29 yards in win over Buffalo (10/24), his<br />

1998 (Seattle 16/0): Appeared in all 16 games in<br />
his rookie season with Seattle and finished with<br />
209 yards and one TD on 35 carries (6.0 avg.)…<br />
made a significant contribution on special teams<br />
with 27 kickoff returns for 620 yards (23.0 avg.)<br />
and also posted six tackles on the coverage<br />
units…made his first NFL action memorable<br />
with 100 yards on just six carries in pro debut<br />
at Philadelphia (9/6), including a season-long<br />
64-yard scamper that led to a six-yard scoring<br />
plunge on the following play for his first NFL<br />
TD…registered a career-long 57-yard kickoff<br />
return in the second half at San Diego (10/25).<br />
COLLEGE: Was a three-year starter from 1995-<br />
97 at Nebraska…part of the national title team<br />
for the Cornhuskers as a freshman in 1995…<br />
finished career with 3,880 rushing yards and<br />
42 touchdowns, both totals good for second<br />
place on the Cornhuskers’ all-time list…also<br />
posted 300 yards and three TDs on 35 career<br />
receptions…in three bowl games, rushed 45<br />
times for 326 yards and three touchdowns…as<br />
a junior (1997), garnered All-Big 12 Conference<br />
recognition and was named second-team<br />
All-America by the Associated Press and The<br />
Sporting News as Nebraska captured the<br />
national championship…registered 278 carries<br />
for 1,877 yards (6.8 avg.) and 22 touchdowns,<br />
a school record for juniors…holds degree in<br />
geography.<br />

state titles in the 100- and 200-meter dashes<br />

400-meter relay team…uncle, Michael Green,<br />
was a running back at Nebraska from 1968-69<br />
and was drafted by the San Diego Chargers in<br />
