Communication skills can influence your speaker points, but will not likely decide the
outcome of the round. I tend to first vote on the flow. Appropriate humor is always a
plus. Don't be rude to your opponents it makes you look bad and will potentially harm
your speaker points
Relative importance of on-case argumentation to the critic in decision-making:
More important for net benefits debate. Less important for Kritique and Procedure dbate.
Openness to critical/performative styles of debating:
I'm open to it just provide solid frame work, warrants and impacts
Any additional comments:
Much of my life during college and since has revolved around teaching Parli debate,
learning advance theories and attending debate camps. I have invested a good chunk of
time into this activity and its probably the reason I'm still single ^_^
That's all to say that I love debate and I enjoy its educational aspect, so debates that have
substance, clash and are educational are always preferred.

Background of the critic:
I majored in history and spent two years on the PHC moot court team. I am from
Knoxville, Tennessee and have watched many parli rounds, although I have never been a
competitor.
Approach of the critic to decision-making (for example, adherence to the trichotomy,
stock-issues, policymaker, tabula rasa, etc.):
I am a tabula rasa judge; willing to listen to any argument that is well-articulated and
compelling.
