Program Learning Outcomes<br />

Upon completion of the MBA program, students will have the ability to:<br />

a. Apply knowledge of business operations from a system perspective <strong>with</strong> knowledge of<br />

management, marketing, finance, information systems and accounting.<br />

b. Analyze business problems and opportunities in social and technological environments.<br />

c. Identify, evaluate, formulate, and solve business problems.<br />

d. Conduct business analysis in the classroom or in the field.<br />

e. Demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills<br />

f. Recognize current best practices and contemporary issues in business.<br />

g. Integrate the techniques, skills, and modern analytical tools necessary for business practice.<br />

h. Discuss the role of ethics in business decision-making.<br />

i. Recognize the impact of business solutions in a societal context.<br />

Curriculum<br />

Course work for the MBA program consists of the foundation, core, and electives. At a minimum the<br />

candidate for the MBA must complete 36 hours of course work beyond the foundation level.<br />

MBA Foundation Courses – The foundation level courses provide a comprehensive general business<br />

education and serves as the bases for advanced studies in business management. These courses are<br />

often referred to as the common body of knowledge of a typical undergraduate business program.<br />

MBA students must complete the following foundation courses of two credit hours each either as an<br />

undergraduate student or prior to enrolling in the first MBA course:<br />
