Given when a course is dropped by the university for administrative<br />

reasons<br />

I Incomplete Given when a student is unable to complete the required work because<br />

of an unavoidable circumstance such as illness. It is not to be given to<br />

enable a student to do additional work to improve a grade. An<br />

incomplete grade must be removed <strong>with</strong>in two semesters (excluding<br />

summer sessions) or it will automatically be converted to a grade of<br />

WF. In the determination of quality hours and Grade Point Averages,<br />

an “I” is not counted in the calculation.<br />

IP Grade Pending Given only for <strong>University</strong> Honors College courses until the project is<br />

completed<br />

P Pass -<br />

T Transfer -<br />

W Withdrawal -<br />

The “AU’s”, “AW’s”, and “W’s” will be listed as attempted hours, but not as quality hours for<br />

calculating Grade Point Averages.<br />

Dean’s List<br />

The semester Dean’s List includes all undergraduate students who achieve a cumulative GPA of 3.7 or<br />

more <strong>with</strong> a minimum of 15 credit hours enrolled and attempted for letter grades that are used to<br />

calculate the students GPA.<br />
